The symposium will be held at
Boğaziçi University (BU), 34342 Bebek, and
The sessions will be held in the
conference halls and the seminar room in Albert Long Hall which is located at
the south campus of the main campus of BU.

Tick on main campus, then on South Campus. The sessions will be held at
building number 9. You can tick on it to see the photo of the building; ticking
on the picture, you will have access to the history of the building.
Building number 20 at South Campus
is one of the guest houses. The other one does not have a number on it. It
should be the orange building next to building number 19.

The
easiest way to reach BU, from the airport is to take a taxi. Airport is about 30km away from BU.

Other
possibility is to take the Airport Shuttle Bus (Havaş). Havaş takes
you to Akmerkez shopping center, which is located at Etiler, 2 kms away from
BU. From Akmerkez, you can take a taxi or a bus to reach BU main gate. The

walk to Bebek Gate of South Campus and climb the hill in the campus to reach
Albert Long Hall.

South Campus (1) Cafeterias: There are many cafeterias in
South Campus. You can find any beverages and drinks. Moreover, in some of
them, it is possible to buy meat and chicken dishes and salads. (2) Kennedy
Lodge: There's
a restaurant serving different kinds of meals from the Turkish cuisine in
Kennedy Lodge. (4) Table D'Hote
Cafeteria:
Serves standard meals for lunch and dinner. It is open between 13:00-14:30
for lunch and 17:00-19:00 for dinner in weekdays. The meals consists of soup,
main meal (generally meat dish), pasta (or rice), dessert (or fruits) (2.25

Saturday evening, it serves only dinner between 18:00-19:00. The meals

If you prefer to eat by
the seaside, you can follow the way to Bebek Gate in South Campus. At the
gate, you can turn left to go to Hisar (Fortress) and turn right to go to
Bebek. from Bebek Gate (1) Bebek: There are several places in Bebek
to eat and drink. (2) Hisar
(Fortress):
Near the Rumeli Fortress, you can find many places to eat. In addition to
meat dishes, you can easily find fish dishes in Hisar. |
