Call for Special Session Proposals

Fifth International Symposium on Image and Signal Processing and Analysis (ISPA 2007)

September 27-29, 2007, Istanbul, Turkey


Proposals for special sessions at ISPA 2007 are solicited. The aim of a special session is to provide an overview of the state-of-the-art and current research directions in specific fields of image and signal processing and analysis.

Potential speakers will be invited by the special session organizer(s) and will be required to submit papers. Submitted papers will reviewed by the session organizers and will be published in the symposium proceedings. Special sessions should normally have six papers as a target number (20 minutes each time slot), but a minimum of four and a maximum of eight papers are acceptable.

Proposals for special sessions should contain:

  1. the session title and the name(s) of the organizer(s), with contact addresses and emails,
  2. a brief description and motivation,

Proposals for special sessions should be sent by March 1, 2007, to the special session co-chairs:

Note: The regular paper submission deadline does not apply to special sessions. The deadline for submission of papers to special session organizer(s) is May 1, 2007, unless a different deadline has been determined by the session organizer(s), as shown in the special session calls for papers.
