The following table shows hotels for ISPA participants.

-         Richmond Hotel and Bebek Oteli offer special rates and a block of rooms are reserved for the ISPA 2007 participants.

IMPORTANT: Rooms must be booked before July 15, 2007 in Richmond Hotel and before September 16, 2007 in Bebek Oteli. After these dates it is the responsibility of participants to secure accommodation. To make a reservation, contact the denoted person for the hotel of your choice, and do not forget to let them know that you are an ISPA 2007 participant and quote Sabancı University for Richmond Hotel and ISPA 2007 participant and Boğaziçi University for Bebek Oteli.

-         Etiler Uygulama Oteli is a budget hotel and does not offer a special rate; early reservation for it is strongly recommended.

 

-         The other hotels do not offer special rates.

Transportation to the symposium venue and to the hotels from the airport:

 

To reach BU or the hotels from the Istanbul Atatürk Airport, please visit http://www.ataturkairport.com/eng/index.php

 

·         The easiest way to reach BU, from the airport is to take a taxi.  Airport is about 30km away from BU. 

·         Other possibility is to take the Airport Shuttle Bus (Havaş). Havas takes you to Akmerkez shopping center, which is located at Etiler, 2 kms away from BU. From Akmerkez, you can take a taxi or a bus to reach BU South Campus main gate. The buses you can take to BU main gate are 

 

-         59R Şişli - Rumelihisarüstü,

-         43R Kabataş - Rumelihisarüstü

-         559C Taksim - Beşiktaş - Rumelihisarüstü

 

 

     

 

·         Etiler Uygulama Oteli is within walking distance to Akmerkez. It is located one bus stop before Akmerkez at the corner of Ebulullah Caddesi (Street) and Nispetiye Caddesi (Street). Havas does not stop in front of it.

·         To reach Bebek Oteli, you can take a taxi or take Havaş to Akmerkez shopping center and from Akmerkez you can take a taxi.

·         The easiest way to reach Richmond Hotel is to take a taxi from the airport.

·         If you take Havaş to reach Richmond Hotel form the airport, you should head to Taksim. From there you can take a taxi to reach the hotel or take the historical tram from the Taksim Square to the Hotel

·         Easiest way to reach Movenpick hotel from the airport is to take a taxi. 

·         You can take Havaş heading to Taksim to reach Eresin Taxim Otel Best Western International.  Eresin Taxim Otel Best Western International is within walking distance to Taksim Square

 

Transportation form the hotels to the symposium venue

 

·         To reach BU from Etiler Uygulama Oteli, take a taxi or one of the buses mentioned above.

·         To reach BU from Bebek Oteli either take a taxi or walk to Bebek Gate of South Campus and climb the hill in the campus to reach Albert Long Hall.

·         To reach BU from the Richmond Hotel either take a taxi or take the historical tram to Taksim Square and take the bus 559C Taksim - Beşiktaş – Rumelihisarüstü. Taksim Square is within walking distance from the Richmond Hotel.

·         To reach BU from Eresin Taxim Otel Best Western International walk  to Taksim Square from where you can take bus 559C Taksim - Beşiktaş – Rumelihisarüstü.

·         To reach BU from the Movenpick Hotel,  you should take a taxi
