Special Session: Transforms and Filter Banks

Aims and Scope

Transforms and filter banks are main techniques used in various applications of signal, image, and video processing. The objective of this special session is to bring together researchers to present new results in these areas.

Topics of interest include but are not limited to:

• Digital signal and image transforms (block transforms, lapped transforms, wavelets, transforms in optics, transforms in digital logic, etc.)
• Fast computational algorithms
• Multirate filter banks
• Filter banks without sampling rate conversion
• Connections between transforms and multirate filter banks
• Connections between octave filter banks and discrete-time wavelet banks
• Transmultiplexers
• Applications of transforms and filter banks

Author Instructions and Deadlines

Authors should submit a six page manuscript in double-column format, A4 page size, including authors' names, affiliations, and an abstract. All submissions should adhere to the ISPA author instructions. Papers should be submitted online using the ISPA electronic submission form. Please check the name of the special session under categories selection.
