Special Session: Real Time Tracking

Third International Symposium on Image and Signal Processing and Analysis

September 18-20, 2003, Rome, Italy

Aims and Scope

Tracking camera- or object-pose in real-time is a demanding task for many potential applications in computer vision, e.g. navigation, self-localisation, and virtual/augmented reality.

Significant progress has been reported for prepared environments (tracking of deliberately designed landmarks / targets). However, many problems in real-time tracking remain to be solved.
