Paper Formatting Instructions

Submitted papers to ISPA must be written in English, with a maximum limit of SIX A4 pages. These six A4 pages should include ALL the contents of the paper, including abstract, figures, references, etc.

The papers should be submitted electronically in PDF format and should adhere to the IEEE PDF Specification for IEEE Xplore exactly.

Please make sure that the generated PDF documents:

  1. have no more than SIX pages,
  2. have A4 page size,
  3. have all used fonts embedded and subset,
  4. have no content written in the margins (19mm top, 12mm right, 12mm left and 30mm bottom), and
  5. have page numbers omitted.

Templates

Submitted papers should follow the IEEE conference proceedings templates for double column A4 paper size.

Proceedings will be published in electronic form only so colors can be used. If using color please select used colors carefully to retain monochrome printing compatibility.

MS Word and LaTeX users can find the templates and styles below.

MS Word Instructions and Template

The MS Word document ispa_template.doc is the template for the requested paper layout. Please make sure that that the generated PDF file has A4 page size.

When using Microsoft Office built-in PDF creation capability please make sure that "ISO 19005-1 compliant (PDF/A)" option is checked so that fonts are embedded and subset as required.

When using Adobe Acrobat please use one of the appropriate joboptions depending on the Adobe Acrobat version.

LaTeX Instructions and Style

Archive ISPA_LaTeX.zip contains all necessary LaTeX files.

Please ensure the option a4paper is selected for the IEEE document class (use \documentclass[conference,a4paper]{IEEEtran}). When creating the PDF usage of pdflatex is encouraged.
